    Aug. 7th The Silver Diner Car Show will be held from 11 AM to 3 PM at Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg MD. Participants will receive a free meal from the diner. For more information email Janette Peer.

     

    Aug.7th The 2nd Annual All American Street Rods National Harbor Cruisin on the River Classic Car & Truck Show will be held on the downtown streets of the National Harbor across the Woodrow Wilson bridge. The show will be held from 10 AM to 5 PM. Registration will be $15 at the gate and will be from 8 AM to noon. Dash plaques for the first 100 cars. There will be over 50 of the regions largest trophies awarded and also cash prizes for the specialty awards. Door prizes, 50/50 raffle, live bands, t-shirts and more. This is an open show and show proceeds will go to local charities to be determined. There will be hotel rooms on site for anybody to come stay for the weekend and enjoy the National Harbor.     Aug.7 - 8 - DUB Magazine Car, Truck, Bike Show and Concert. - We have been working on this for some time and finally have everything set to officially release the information to everyone. The OC Car Show's has teamed up with DUB Magazine to bring the DUB Magazine Car Show and Concert Series to Ocean City. You asked for it and we have delivered! The DUB tour is the largest tour in the country and we are pleased to join forces and turn the August event into a DUB event and a SUPERPOWER in the auto show and concert industry. The event will still have all of your favorite aspects of an OC Car Show event, but with the huge added value of the a full fledged DUB Show.     Aug. 12 - 14 - AACA National Meet on the campus of Va. Tech in Blacksburg, Va. The host hotel is The Inn At VT, the phone number is 540 231-8000, the room rate is 134.99 per night.

    Aug. 13 - 15 - Hampton Cup Regatta presents out annual "Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show" August 13, 14 & 15, 2010. All antique cars, trucks, Muscle Cars and Motorcycles are welcome. Join us for any day or all 3 days and see the boat races from the best site on Mill Creek. There is (NO ENTRY Fee) and food and drinks will be available. Special door prizes each day for show participants, childrens area and 24 hour security. Located on Mercury Blvd. bridge at Ft.Monroe, in Hampton, VA.     Aug. 14th The All-GM Car Show, sponsored by the Metro Buick Club and Capitol City Rockets Oldsmobile Club, will be held at Montgomery College at 51 Mannakee St in Rockville MD from 9 AM to 3 PM. Registration for vehicles is $15 if postmarked before August 6th and $20 the day of the show. Admission for spectators is free. Flea Market spaces are available for $15 if postmarked before August 6th. GM vehicles (any division, any year) only please. Peer judging with trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 15 categories, plus Special "Gas Pump" Awards will be presented for Best Chevrolet, Best Pontiac/Oakland, Best Oldsmobile/Viking, Best Buick/Marquette, Best Cadillac/LaSalle, Best GM Stock Original Car of Show and Best GM Modified Car of Show.     Aug. 14th The 8th Annual Fredericksburg Classic & Muscle Car Club Show will be held from 9 AM to 3 PM at Chancellor Baptist Church located at 11324 Gordon Rd in Spotsylvania VA (raindate is August 21st). $20 registration fee. Call President Wes at (540)775-7614 for more information.

    Aug. 14th The 21st Annual All Corvette Cruise-in will be held at the Sudley Town Plaza in Manassas VA from 2 PM to 6 PM. $5 admission fee. Dash plaques to the first 250 Corvettes.

     

    Aug. 14th The Falls Church Vendors Fair Show & Shine will be held from 11 AM to 4 PM. A "Cruiser of the Month" award will be donated by a local eatery. Local celebs will judge. Call Dan Greenwood at (703)477-9242 for more information.

     

    Aug. 14 - 11th Annual MDA Car Show sponsored by the Southern Knights Cruisers Car Club at Richard Bland College in Petersburg, VA. The SKC is working directly with the Muscular Dystrophy Association again in 2010 with all funds going to benefit MD research and patients in Central Virginia. Partnering with Strosnider Chevrolet of Hopewell, Books A Million, Collision One of Mechancisville & Tappahannock, Hardee’s Restaurants, and Balch Automotive & Collision, this show will again be the Premier Car Show for the Richmond Metro & Tri-Cities area, with over 100 awards going to antique, classics, customs, muscle cars, race cars, street rods, 4x4 custom trucks, emergency vehicle, and bikes. Lots of Specialty awards! Lots of vendors will be there displaying their specialty items. Example: Custom Pin Stripping, Custom Auto Parts, Custom Bikes and parts By Catlin's Cycles of Chester, and Xtreme Stuff of Chesterfield with high performance sealers & waxes to protect the paint on your pride & joy. Dash plaques to first 200 registered. The SKC club members are going all out to make this years show the best ever.     Aug. 21st Hite’s Chapel 3rd Annual Car Show will be held from 9 AM to 3 PM in Middletown VA (rain date is August 29). $10 entry fee. Dash plaques to the first 100 registered. Top 20 awards for pre-1980 (participants pick) and Top 5 awards for 1980-present (also participants pick). Pastor’s pick and United Methodist women’s pick awards.     AUGUST 22, 2010. Redskins Rides Charity Fundaraising Car Show. 11am-5pm 21300 Redskins Park Drive, Ashburn, VA 20147. A classic, custom, and exotic car show featuring The Washington Redskins, where families, sports fans and car enthusiasts come to get autographs, see what the players drive, and vote for the People's choice, Best in Show.     Aug. 22ndThe 3rd Annual 50 Years of Cars and Stars Show will be held again at the Old Dominion Speedway on Rt 234 in Manassas VA. Car show, Nostalgia Drags, Drag Racing personalities, antiques race cars. Lots going on all day long at the first dragstrip in the East. Opens at 8 AM. Show Grid time at 11 AM.     Aug. 22nd The 13th Annual All FORD Show will be held at Mason Dixon Dragway in Hagerstown MD from 8 AM to 3:30 PM. $10 show entry fee.

     

    Aug. 22nd The Country Roads Car Club's 14th Annual Summer Car Show will be held at The Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Leetown Pike from 11 AM to 4 PM. Dash plaques to the first 50 vehciles, door prizes, 50/50.     SEPT 26th The Prince William Cruisers will be hosting a benefit car show for the Wounded Warrior Project and Jill's House (meets needs for children and families with special needs). All proceeds will go to both of these charities. Show will be held at the Occoquan Regional Park located at 9751 Ox Rd in Lorton VA. The show is from 9 AM to 3 PM with registration from 9 AM til noon. Entry fee is $15.
